Throughout a remarkable career, John de la Rionda has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to his craft and knowledge of the residential construction industry.

He began his construction career in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1974. After completing a two-year apprenticeship in carpentry, he expanded his skills with a company focused on Brownstone renovations in Boston's South End.

In 1980, he founded "John de la Rionda Design/Build," a general contracting firm dedicated to residential remodeling and restoration. For the next 30 years, as a business owner and lead carpenter, he managed all project phases, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction while building a strong reputation in a competitive market. During this time, John also became known as someone homeowners with problematic projects could turn to for help and advise.

In 2010, motivated by a desire to be closer to family, John relocated to California. Taking a break from General Contracting he started "John de la Rionda Carpentry." A company specializing in custom cabinetry and design, earning him accolades on Houzz.com for quality and service.

More importantly, during this time he’s continued to leverage his general contracting and business expertise into what’s become a full time consulting business; assisting homeowners navigate the complexities of residential remodeling in Southern California.
